Buffalo man pleads guilty to cocaine charge

BUFFALO -- Michael Early, 32, of Buffalo pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute cocaine before Senior U.S. District Judge William M. Skretny. The charge carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and a $1,000,000 fine.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Joel L. Violanti, who is handling the case, stated that on September 27, 2013, the Drug Enforcement Agency and Buffalo Police Department executed search warrant at 66 Connelly Avenue in Buffalo. During the search, officers found crack cocaine and $6,495 in cash.

Sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 23.
