Nazareth College honors 8 from WNY with President's Civic Engagement Awards

ROCHESTER -- Eight Western New York students at Nazareth College were awarded with the Community Service Award, recognizing those who have demonstrated a commitment to service, either to the college community or the greater community at large.

The awardees include:

  • Toni Battista of Brockport 
  • Margaret Beiter of Fairport
  • Brittany Donovan of Cheektowaga 
  • Sarah Eneix of West Seneca 
  • Joshua Fess of Fairport 
  • Chelsea Lebeck of Rochester
  • Caitlyn Paris-Woods of Webster 
  • Jennifer Wess of Williamsville 

Nazareth College's academic strengths cross an unusually broad spectrum of 60 majors, including education, health and human services, management, the fine arts, music, theater, math and science, foreign languages, and the liberal arts. The coeducational, religiously independent, classic campus in a charming suburb of Rochester, N.Y. challenges and supports 2,000 undergrads and 800 graduate students. Nazareth is recognized nationally for its Fulbright global student scholars and commitment to civic engagement.
