Local National Guard members promoted

LATHAM -- Major General Anthony P. German, the Adjutant General for the State of New York, announces the promotion of members of the New York Army National Guard in recognition of their capability for additional responsibility and leadership.
  • Luis Bello from Pittsford and assigned to the 152nd Engineer Support Company received a promotion to the rank of Sergeant.
  • Gary Coleman from Rochester and assigned to the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 27th Brigade Special Troops Battalion received a promotion to the rank of Sergeant First Class.
  • Stacey Ehrig from Cheektowaga and assigned to the Company C (Medical), 427th Brigade Support Battalion received a promotion to the rank of Specialist.
  • Jazmin Elie from Rochester and assigned to the Headquarters and Headquarters Troop, 2-101 Cavalry (Reconnaissance, Surveillance and Target Acquisition) received a promotion to the rank of Specialist.
  • Eric Emerling from Springville and assigned to the 27th Infantry Brigade Combat Team received a promotion to the rank of Major.
  • Austin Evarts from Rochester. and assigned to the A Troop, 2-101 Cavalry (Reconnaissance, Surveillance and Target Acquisition) received a promotion to the rank of Specialist.
  • Brian Frail from Henrietta and assigned to the 222nd Military Police Company received a promotion to the rank of Sergeant.
  • Zachary Kier from Rochester and assigned to the Headquarters and Headquarters Troop, 2-101 Cavalry (Reconnaissance, Surveillance and Target Acquisition) received a promotion to the rank of Sergeant.
  • Nicolas Laboy from Buffalo and assigned to the C Troop, 2-101 Cavalry (Reconnaissance, Surveillance and Target Acquisition) received a promotion to the rank of Private First Class.
  • Ryne McCarthy from Buffalo and assigned to the Headquarters and Headquarters Troop, 2-101 Cavalry (Reconnaissance, Surveillance and Target Acquisition) received a promotion to the rank of Private.
  • Jeffrey Miles from Buffalo and assigned to the Company C,Recruiting and Retention received a promotion to the rank of Major.
  • Benjamin Pritchard from North Tonawanda and assigned to the Headquarters and Headquarters Troop, 2-101 Cavalry (Reconnaissance, Surveillance and Target Acquisition) received a promotion to the rank of Private First Class.
  • Charlynn Proctorburch from Jamestown and assigned to the 10th Mountain Division Mobile Command Post Operations Detachment received a promotion to the rank of Specialist.
  • Elizabeth Ramirezpacheco from Rochester and assigned to the 105th Military Police Company received a promotion to the rank of Staff Sergeant.
  • Sonya Rooney from SpencerPort and assigned to the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 102nd Military Police Battalion received a promotion to the rank of Private First Class.
  • Jason Stoffer from Warsaw and assigned to the Company A (Distribution), 427th Brigade Support Battalion received a promotion to the rank of Specialist.
  • Kevin Sullivan from Lake View and assigned to the C Troop, 2-101 Cavalry (Reconnaissance, Surveillance and Target Acquisition) received a promotion to the rank of Sergeant.
  • Isaac Wainwright from East Otto and assigned to the Headquarters and Headquarters Troop, 2-101 Cavalry (Reconnaissance, Surveillance and Target Acquisition) received a promotion to the rank of Staff Sergeant.
  • Alexandra Williamson from Buffalo and assigned to the 1156th Engineer Company received a promotion to the rank of Sergeant.
  • Rocco Zoffranieri from Rochester and assigned to the 222nd Military Police Company received a promotion to the rank of Specialist.
Army National Guard promotions are based on overall performance, attitude, leadership ability, and development potential.

The New York National Guard (New York State Division of Military and Naval Affairs) is the state's executive agency responsible to the Governor for managing New York's Military Forces, which consists of nearly 20,000 members of the New York Army National Guard, the New York Air National Guard, the New York Naval Militia and the New York Guard.
