Traffic stop leads to drug arrests

STOW -- A pair of North Ridgeville, Ohio men were arrested today following a traffic stop on I-86.

According to New York State Police, Justin Bement, 27, was charged with for seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance in a non-original container and Sebastian Roetzel, 26, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

Roetzel was pulled over on I-86 in Stow for speeding. While speaking to Roetzel and passenger Bement, the Troopers smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. A search lead to the discovery of a gram of marijuana in the glove compartment, 11 grams of marijuana in a back pack and a Dextroamphetamine pill in an Allegra bottle. Roetzel was issued an appearance ticket on scene and was released. Bement was transported to SP Jamestown, processed and released with an appearance ticket. Roetzel and Bement are scheduled to appear in the town of North Harmony Court later in the month to answer the charges.
