TRICOLI: Certain people must go

By Jim Tricoli
AMHERST TIMES

Each day I plan to write an article concerning individuals who must be relieved of their jobs on two Boards.  They are people who have hurt Amherst time and time again by giving away our good, green space. The only way this can be stopped is to remove certain people from both the Planning Board and the Zoning Board of Appeals.

The first person is David Pollack, a furrier serving on the Zoning Board of Appeals.

Mr. David Pollack was put on the important Zoning Board of Appeals not because he is a man who listens to the evidence presented at the ZBA meetings, but because he cares for those who represent big companies or "important" people trying to get something for which they actually don't quality.

The word 'rude' fits his demeanor and tone when he addresses the 'little people' who  present their cases. He tone and attitude change drastically when it's one of the "good old boys." He has been on this Board long enough to hurt Amherst as much as he wants.

It' time for this furrier to resign. If he continues to be the rude element on this very important Board a full investigation of his business and ZBA connection will be dug up.
