Western New Yorkers promoted in New York Army National Guard

LATHAM -- Major General Anthony P. German, the Adjutant General for the State of New York, announces the promotion of members of the New York Army National Guard in recognition of their capability for additional responsibility and leadership.
  • Benjamin Anger from Buffalo and assigned to the Company C (Signal), 27th Brigade Special Troops Battalion received a promotion to the rank of Private First Class.
  • Daniel Bienko from Buffalo and assigned to the Company B, Combat Engineer, 152nd Brigade Engineer Battalion received a promotion to the rank of Sergeant.
  • Mackenzie Burlow from West Seneca and assigned to the 152nd Engineer Support Company received a promotion to the rank of Second Lieutenant.
  • Melissa Carey from Depew and assigned to the 27th Infantry Brigade Combat Team received a promotion to the rank of Sergeant Major.
