Niagara U Baseball faces Cornell in first showdown for 30 years


NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. – The Niagara baseball team will play a doubleheader at Cornell on Sunday, March 25 with first pitch at 12:00 p.m. This will be the teams' first meeting since 1979.

  • The Purple Eagles split a four-game series with Michigan State March 15-18. The Spartans won the first game, 10-1, and the Purple Eagles won the second game, 3-2. Michigan State took the third game, 5-1, and Niagara picked up a 12-10 win in the final game of the series.
