Niagara softball heads to Ohio for DH with Cleveland State


NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. -- The Purple Eagles softball team heads to Ohio to play a doubleheader with Cleveland State on Wednesday, March 28 at 3:00 p.m.

Last Time Out
  • The Purple Eagles competed in the Homewood Suites by Hilton RDU/RTP Challenge in Raleigh, N.C. March 23-25.
  • Niagara dropped a game to Kennesaw State, 6-5, two games to NC State (9-1, 9-7) and one game to Marist, 5-3, before defeating Marist 9-1 in the final game of the tournament.

On the Field: Niagara Purple Eagles (6-17)
  • Jennifer Timm and Kelsey Harrigan lead the Purple Eagles in hits with 18 each.
  • Jerri Ann Orfano leads the teams in RBIs with 20 and also has a team-high five homeruns on the season so far.
