• The Golden Griffins are 9-26 on the year after sweeping the doubleheader at Manhattan on Sunday, April 22.
• Canisius is 5-3 in MAAC play after winning four-straight league games. The back-to-back sweeps of Saint Peter's and Manhattan on the road last weekend for the first time since 2009.
• The Blue and Gold's sweep of Saint Peter's on April 21 improved Canisius to 24-2 against the Peacocks since 2006.
• Sophomore Brittany Sockwell had three homers last weekend, the first player on this year's team to have three homers in a two game span.
• Freshman Kara Paradowski leads the team, and the MAAC, with 19 stolen bases on 20 chances.
• Senior pitcher Erika Mackie ranks sixth in the conference in appearances, and fourth in the league in innings pitched with 106.2.
• Mackie is one of four pitchers in the MAAC to have four shutouts this season. For her career, she boasts 14 shutouts.

• Niagara is 12-27 on the year and 4-6 in league play.
• The Purple Eagles are led by Jerri Ann Orfano, who is batting .297 with six doubles and six homers.
• As a team, Niagara is tied for third in the MAAC with 23 homers, but the team leads the conference with 218 strikeouts on the year.
• Junior Sierra Bertrand leads the Niagara pitching staff six wins and 72 strikeouts in 18 starts.
• Tuesday's twinbill will be the 118th and 119th all-time meetings between Canisius and Niagara on the softball diamond.
• The Griffs lead the all-time series by a 92-24-1 count. Canisius has played more games against Niagara than any other opponent.
• Canisius and Niagara have split each of the last two MAAC doubleheaders going back to 2016.

• Canisius will open a 10-game homestand to close out the 2018 regular-season, starting Saturday, April 28, when MAAC-leading Monmouth travels to Buffalo. That league twinbill is set to start at noon.
