Buffalo State alumni make '30 Under 30' honorees list for 'Business First'

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Several Buffalo State alumni and a current student were honored in Buffalo Business First’s annual “30 Under 30,” which recognizes young professionals making contributions in their workplace and communities. The honorees, which were announced this week, were chosen from 140 nominations. Six of the honorees are alumni of undergraduate, graduate, or certificate programs of Buffalo State and one is a current student in the master of public administration (M.P.A.) program. According to Business First, honorees are selected for their career achievements, leadership and initiative, community engagement, and potential to become a community leader.

Jennifer Carland, ’15, is a registered dietitian for Meals on Wheel of Western New York.

Juliana Curtis (took courses in the Art and Design and Creative Studies departments) is president of JWAY Games Inc. and a teacher for Amherst Central Schools.

Joelle (Delmonte) Donius ’14, is an academic coordinator for the University at Buffalo School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.

Jonathan Palmeri (took courses in the Business Department) is owner of JohnnyTheBarber Inc.

Antonio Regulier (current M.P.A. student) is an AmeriCorps V.I.S.T.A. leader for the City of Buffalo’s Division of Citizen Services.

Mo Sumbundu, ’13, ’15, is a project coordinator for Empire State Development.

James Wangelin, ’12, is owner of Wagelin Development and Summer Storage.
