Gillibrand continues push on 'Congressional Harassment Reform Act'

PRESS RELEASE

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- More than 80 days after the U.S. House of Representatives unanimously passed bipartisan legislation to end taxpayer-funded settlements in sexual harassment cases by members of Congress, U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand continues to urge Republican Senate leadership to bring her bipartisan legislation, the Congressional Harassment Reform Act, to the Senate floor for a vote.

Gillibrand's legislation has 32 co-sponsors, and in March Gillibrand signed a letter with Senators Klobuchar and Murray with all 22 women Senators calling on Senate leadership to bring this legislation to the Senate floor.
