DukesNIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. -- Niagara University alum Kahlil Dukes has been invited to the 2018 NBA GLPI Invited Player Session in Chicago on Sunday, August 12. The NBA G League is the official minor league of the NBA and the home of NBA Prospects.

The event will challenge NBA G League hopefuls, via full-court games, to showcase their skills for NBA G League player personnel, executives, coaches and industry scouts with the hopes of securing an NBA Training Camp invite or gaining eligibility for the NBA G League Draft in October.

Dukes concluded his two-year tenure as a Purple Eagle with numerous accolades after a stellar 2017-18 season. Dukes posted career-highs with 21.0 points per game and with 3.3 assists per game while setting career-high numbers in field goal percentage (46.5 %), 3-point field goal percentage (41.7%), 3-pointers made (95), and total free throws made (149). Dukes was second in the MAAC and 30th in the NCAA in scoring and led the conference in free throw percentage (90.9 percent) and in 3-point field goal percentage (41.7 percent).

In June 2018, Dukes had pre-NBA Draft workouts with the Los Angeles Lakers.
