West Seneca man charged with Leandra's Law DWI

STAFF REPORTS

A 36-year-old West Seneca man was charged with Leandra's Law DWI and Endangering the Welfare of a Child on August 26, 2018 following a routine traffic stop.

According to New York State Troopers, Christopher J. Stoutenburg was stopped on State Route 219 in the Town of Ashford for passing another vehicle and causing that vehicle to veer off the shoulder of the roadway, avoiding a collision. Stoutenburg was placed under arrest after failing SFST's and was transported to SP Machias for processing. Stoutenburg's 1-year-old child was in the rear passenger seat of the vehicle. Stoutenburg recorded a .11% BAC.

Stoutenburg was issued tickets returnable to the Town of Ashford in September 2018.
