STAFF REPORTS

A 35-year-old Allegany woman was charged with DWI on November 10, 2018 following a routine traffic stop.

According to New York State Troopers, during a traffic stop on State Route 16 in the town of Allegany, officers observed that Elizabeth A. Legere was exhibiting obvious signs of intoxication. She failed standardized field sobriety tests at the scene. She was arrested and transported to SP Olean, where a chemical breath test revealed her to have a 0.13% BAC.

Legere was released with appearance tickets for Allegany Town Court, where she is due to return later this month.
