Hilton's Schubert graduates from Muhlenberg College's Class of 2019


ALLENTOWN, Pa. -- Muhlenberg College celebrated its 171st Commencement on May 19, 2019. During the ceremony, which was held on the College Green, 502 students were awarded their undergraduate degrees.

Among those graduating was Emily Schubert of Hilton, who graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a minor in Creative Writing.

The College also conferred honorary degrees to Commencement speaker author and attorney Scott Turow as well as former Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of the Treasury Sarah Bloom Raskin and chief of the Wills Eye Pediatric Ophthalmology and Ocular Genetics Service Dr. Alex Levin '78.Watch Muhlenberg's 2019 Commencement summary video and as well as the Baccalaureate Candle Lighting and Faces of Class of 2019. Founded in 1848, Muhlenberg is a highly selective, private, four-year residential, liberal arts college located in Allentown, Pennsylvania, approximately 90 miles west of New York City.
